Last night at the exclusive Club 50 in Miami’s Viceroy Hotel, movers & shakers of the sports and entertainment worlds gathered to celebrate Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade’s welcome into fashion’s inner circle, as a designer. No stranger to the world of luxury watches, Dwyane made his mark as a designer in creating his very own limited edition watch in collaboration with Hublot. “The elements reflect my personal style and love for basketball”, he said of the watch, titled “Bang”, which features his jersey’s #3 and a basketball net design on the strap. Sporting his own creation, Dwyane enjoyed the Hublot Bal Harbour Boutique opening soiree with his girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union, while guests danced to tunes spun by Miami’s own DJ Khaled. The best reason to celebrate? Proceeds from the Hublot King Power Dwyane Wade watch will go to support the Wade World Foundation in its efforts to promote education, health and social skills for children in at-risk situations.
